Mini Haul

Oh, end of summer sales..how I love you! I recently picked up two items that I thought were KILLER deals and extremely functional for my low key style and fall weather that will soon be approaching.

First of all...these green pants! They are a cargo material, but with elastic ankles and waist! YEP, heaven. I scored these on Barney's Warehouse for only $50 (down from $189) While the website says they are still over $100, I scored these on an extra 60% off sale.

Lastly, Jeffrey Campbell shoes are NEVER cheap. I somehow found these perfect shoes for $29 (down from $178). They are beautifully made, comfy, and great for basic shoes for the fall! For my first pair of Campbell's, I think I did pretty decent.

With a designer love, but a college kid budget, I love finding good deals and investing on pieces that I know will last me for a long time to come. Happy shopping!

May Favorites

I love May, it is the transitional month between Spring and Summer. With that, it brings in a lot of amazing things.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion: To be honest, I just started using this a few days ago, but this stuff is gold! You dip your que-tip all the way to the bottom and put it on your spots, before bed. I woke up and they were dried out! I read that this is also amazing for bug bites....YES!

Marrakesh: I have tried so many leave in conditioners, but this is one I always go back to. It makes my hair for smooth and strong, it is also full of a bunch of amazing oils!

Bronze Goddess Perfume Oil: Okay, I have had this for about two years ago and I only wear it for a few months a year. The coconut and feminine scent reminds me of the tropics and the oil helps to have it last on my skin. Just be careful of putting it on when you have lighter clothes on, it will stain.

Kat Von D Shade Light: It took me a while to get into this, but once I figured out how to use it properly I feel in love. I love the highlighters for my undereyes, it takes away the blue areas so easily! Not to mention that it blends really well.

Georgia Peach Candle: My love for Bath and Body Works candles is always really strong. I love this peach scent for summer! It is so fresh and fruity, I am totally going to have to get the 3-wick once this mini is gone.

Moscow Mule Mug: I recently turned 21 and I found a love for Moscow Mules. My boyfriend and I are getting ready to celebrate our two year anniversary and he got me a real copper mule mug! IT IS GORGEOUS! I know this will get plenty of love this summer.

March 12th, outfit of the day

We were blessed with nice weather all last week, but today took a turn for the colder side. With temps in the 50's, I pulled out a new favorite! I paired my new faux fur vest and paired it with some timeless staples.

Spring Refresh

I am a sucker for Sephora, there might be nothing that I really need, but I find myself buying a handful of things. My haul is a little bit of a spring themed one and I picked up a few things that I have heard good reviews on.

Soap & Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash: Sold out online, I got it on sale for $15 at my local Sephora (and the bottle is HUGE). Smells of mint and citrus and the color is gorgeous.

Fresh Sugar lip treatment in Rose: Buy it here . I tried this on the second I got home and holy smokes, I get why this is such a huge deal know! I am officially converted to this products.

*update* I have used it for the last 24 hours and I can already tell a difference, it goes on so smoothly and gives the lightest hint of color! Totally worth the $22 and then some, I can't wait to see what my lips are like in a week, or two.

Sephora Honey Mask: Buy it here. This is another product that I see everyone talking about, for $6, I figured why not try it?!

*update* I used this last night and while I liked the idea of this mask (maybe I should try out the other ones as well), I felt that it smelled like Mustard (weird, I know) and did not really do much for my skin.

February Favorites

I picked out a few of my favorite foods, beauty products, fashion, and music to share with you all!
Food is my life and it always will be, but I like to fill myself with healthy options. Graze is a monthly (or weekly) subscription book that I get sent to me. All of their snacks are healthy and made with love, not filled with all of the crap. You get four snacks sent to you at a time and you can even customize it to what you want!

Get your first and fifth box for free when you use my code at checkout : HAYDEN7VP

For tea, I always head to the chai or black teas. When I saw that this one had chocolate infused with it, I almost lost it! The taste is spicy like a chai, but it has a sweetness to it from the chocolate.

Beauty:
I am VERY picky with the kinds of brushes that I use on my hair and The Wet Brush is the only one that I will ever keep buying! It takes the snarls out without pulling my scalp apart, as well as taking all of my hair with it! This is even killer to use after you get out of the shower, it helps to keep my hair tangle free. The best part is that you won't be spending an arm and a leg to buy this either.

Check it out here: Wet Brush

NYX is one of those drugstore brands that never fails me. I was always curious about green concealers and how it can take away my red marks. When I tried this I was in shock, it worked so well! I add this and buff it out, before I put my actual concealer on top of that. It works like a total dream!

I have never tried anything from Boscia, but I have always wanted to try a cleanser. For this being my first cleanser product, I am in love. This stuff takes away all of my makeup and helps to clear my face. The only downfall is that it hurts when you take your eye makeup off, so I use another product for that area. It looks like you are putting tar onto your face, since the color is a dark black liquid.

Fashion:
I wear glasses to help with driving, reading, and headaches. A few months back I was due for a check-up and new glasses! These glasses by GUESS are actual for men, but the fit was so sexy and smart on my face. The fifties inspired look is so trendy right now and I had to jump on board!

Check them out here: Guess

I have been wanting a card holder for a while now, but spending a couple hundred on a designer one wasn't going to cut it. I ran out to the oulet mall with my boyfriend and had to drag him into Coach. This one caught my eye right away, it matched the leather bag I got for Christmas, but it also had a fun twist with the neon green. This was marked down to $40 and I got another 50% off. Real leather and at a price to fit my poor college kid needs!

Sold out online, check out store here: Coach

Music: James Bay...I have nothing else to say, listen for yourself.

Reese's Spreads Review

I received another awesome voxpox from Influenster and it was a jar of Reese's Spreads!! I tried some this morning on my toast and I was addicted by the first taste. The taste is exactly like a peanut butter cup. I even had to put the jar higher up in my cupboard, because I know I will just keep eating it all day if I didn't.
I paired mine with a few slices of oatmeal bread, chia seeds, and banana slices! What I love about this spread is that it can literally go with ANYTHING!

The consistency is extremely smooth and rich. I highly recommend this to anyone that is a fan of peanut butter cups!
