Simple and backless

I am known for loving fashion, but simple and effortless looks. I love taking pieces that have a bold statement to them and pairing it with simpler things. Today's look really plays into that with my new maxi dress I just bought. The back has a very deep v, but the strap in the middle creates a sexy statement to it. .
The Aztec print on the strap with the simple grey cotton material is perfect for these summer days we are having here.

I kept the jewelry simple, just my usual black Marc Jacobs button earrings and a gold twisted bangle, because in my eyes a crazy amount of jewelry with a sexy back just isn't needed.

Slouchy, effortless, comfortable, and sexy...four of my favorite things all packed into one look.

Finish the look off with a messy pony tail and some gladiators , maybe even a big hobo bag! It is hippy chic and summer ready!

Triangl Love!

Over a month ago I purchased one Triangl's famous bikini's, sadly, the one I ordered did not fit me the right way. After sending the Arizona Sunset back, I waited almost five weeks to receive the one that I am now in love with, the Indy, Arizona Sunset. Now, for those of you that do not know what a Triangl bikini is, it is an amazing bikini made out of neoprene, so the fabric feels like a wet suit. They are also based out of Aussie, so what is not to love about that!?
It took me a while to talk myself into spending almost $100 on a bikini, because I am one of those girls that buys them in bulk when they go on sale in August. Luckily, I had some birthday money to spend and I knew it was now or never.

I first want to talk about how killer this color is, the neon coloraly orange is going to look perfect once I start to get tan. With having a more athletic shaped body, I knew that the tie bikini would be the best option (after realizing the other didn't work so well). I ordered the top in a size small, I went up a size even though they said I was an xsmall. The bottoms I kept in a size medium. It is a lower rise bottom, but the ties give you the option to create your own level of comfort and your idea of a perfect fit. The top also is just your normal bikini top, but it has some create stitching on it to help create an even more polished look.

OH, did I say that the bikini also comes with a little matching neoprene backpack!? It has a drawstring and will be great to store my bikini in, or even use it to carry stuff.

The ties on the top and bottom even have their logo stamped on the beads!

I also want to add in that the people that work for Triangl are amazing, they were so helpful and even have their own little chat area on the website that you can use. If you are willing to spend the money and take the time to find the perfect fit for you, you will love the finished product!

Rain Rain Go Away

My neck of the woods has been pretty rainy for the last day or two and it couldn't be more of a coincidence that my new Hunter boots arrived in the mail the day before it all started! If you don't know what Hunter boots are, let me break it down for you. A rain boot. Yep, simple as that, but these ones have been around forever and are considered a classic over in Europe (fancy, I know)! So, I got really classic and ordered them in the short, army green color, they were even on sale. Now, I don't live in an area where it is always rainy, but I think they will become handy for rainy weather this summer and autumn.
Rainy days are meant for dressing down a little bit, but that doesn't mean you can't still look put together if you are going somewhere! My black ripped skinny jeans are my staple for when I want that look, they might be old, but what can I say, I love them! Pair those with a slouchy v-neck and button up and you are ready to rock those rain puddles (Yes, I just said that)!

An effortless bun and reading glasses wouldn't hurt either, maybe even a cute umbrella if you don't want to get drenched.  If you are one of those more out there people, pick up some bright yellow or red ones and show your wild side!

lazy day must haves

It has been a bit of a ran filled day in my area and that means one thing...cozy things. With a Tobacco & patchouli candle lit, blankets all around, and sweat pants on, I felt like this would be the perfect chance to sit down and write a new post.I recently did a little shopping at two different places, Revolve clothing and Lush. What did they all have in common? They all went perfectly together with this little rainy day.

First, I am going to go on and on about how amazing this bralette is. I have been eyeing this brand for a few months now, but I just couldn't bring myself to spending almost $100 on a bralette, that was until I started roaming around Revolves website. With it being marked down to around $40 and free shipping, I knew I had to give in on the deal. The neck is rather high and I might have to mess around with it to find a perfect fit for my body. It's gorgeous cream colored lace makes up for that though. The main reason I picked this one was the great criss-cross back. I was worried since I ordered a small, but it is SO comfortable and totally work the money!

This addiction to Wildfox clothing has been a slow run, since this is only my second clothing item from them. I think I really just love how soft the shirts are, not to mention the sayings on them really add to it. I ordered this also in a small and it fits like a dream. I have a longer torso, so it is a tad bit shorter in the front than what it looks like on the model, but nothing awkward. I can't wait to pair this shirt with everything from leggings to a cute maxi skirt!

Lastly, lets just talk about this hidden gem that Lush has. Lush has been my BFF for a few years now and not ONCE have I ever smelt this, until a few weeks ago. In Michigan, wildflowers are pretty much everywhere around my house and campsite that I camp at. The smell is so gorgeous and this shower gel smells exactly like it. It is made with Jasmine, ylang ylang, and three different types of honey. Pretty amazing sounding, right? Yeah, I know! I find myself just smelling it if I am in the bathroom, because it is that addicting. The lather is great and leaves a slight scent of the gel on my skin for a good amount of time after I get out.

Pair these three things with some tea, a good movie, and your favorite person to cuddle with and you are set for your cozy day in!
